WHAT VIDYATECH DID?
The customer had no in-house IT professional and it was entirely dependent on multiple, external IT vendors for carrying out minor IT operations. These tie-ups had their own downsides and the vendors often charged a huge amount for trivial tasks. Moreover, due to technical knowledge inadequacy, it was not easy for the customer to validate these vendors’ work.
For providing an organized IT infrastructure, it was important to understand the customer’s working environment. Vidyatech’s IT experts visited the customer site and spent a week to understand the infrastructure, vendor policy, and other pain points.
Post IT Audit, we proposed an effectual IT strategy to develop a setup that could be more organized than the prevailing ad hoc one. We also recommended the best practices for Server Management, Network Management, and Firewall Management, and other processes and policies for improved IT operations.
To resolve the customer’s day-to-day IT issues, Vidyatech placed an on-site IT engineer whose roles and responsibilities included Desktop Management, Asset Management, Incident Management, and Vendor Management.
Over time, Vidyatech also enabled the customer to adopt the latest and better IT technologies. These include moving applications to cloud, switching to new ISP for higher bandwidth in low cost, migrating the Website to a more secure platform, and deploying an Antivirus Server.
